This episode made me like this anime significantly more. That’s just how cool I though it was. Explained a little about the dragons, learned a bit about the shuttle crash, …a wee bit of romance.

Okay, so if you woke up naked in an unfamiliar place, what would your first thought be? If you were a substance abuser like myself, it’d be ‘I knew I shouldn’t have mixed heroin and vodka’. Jin is obviously not one. He flashes back to after he mean Toa. She leaves in a flash and Jin is asked to get into a car with a strange girl. He…well, he doesn’t even refuse. He just hesitates. The girls butler comes up behind him and BEATS HIS ASS. Jin ends up naked in afformentioned room.

The girl who knocked him out comes in and in true anime style the sheet around Jin’s waist falls to the floor. She makes a crack about him being a ‘small man’ and yeah. Later, after obviously giving him some clothes, this girl escorts Jin to a conference room when an authoritative looking man is waiting.

This man drops the bomb. It turns out Jin’s family wasn’t killed by the pilot error his father made (which apparently is illegal since Jin’s father was imprisoned after.) it was really the dragons coming to earth. The dragon’s are being shot off an asteroid bound for earth called Thanatos.

This man refuses to release Jin’s father and then the haughty little prick demands that Jin become a Dragonaut. Jin refuses, but when he tries to leave Kazuki enters. Somehow…in the next scene…Jin got talked into a car with Kazuki. =/

Jin eventually gets home and then leaves it again to go meet Toa. Turns out he is being watched by the ISDA, the organization that captured him. They want to capture Toa now. Jin and Toa watch the sunset and eventually run off after breaking one of the ISDA’s cameras. They get surrounded by the forces, but Toa, being the superhuman that she is jumps really high with Jin in her arms.

Makina, another more busty super human, traps Toa’s legs in this like…water web whip thing as she tries to get away. Toa breaks free and drops Jin off before she continues to run. Makina and three other super humans (including the chick’s butler from the beginning) follow her and surround her. One of them twitches and the whole scene explodes.

Jin catches up and tries top go find Toa, but is confronted by Kazuki who is pointing a gun at him. Jin is angry and feels all alone, but Toa comes and scoops him up. She gives Jin a big ol’ kiss and tells him he has her so he’s not alone. Aww…>_>

You know that superhuman that flinched, he’s turning into a monster now. Okay, now to explain the dragons. Toa, Makina, The old Butler, and…the other super humans are all Dragons. They just take a human form when they have good communication with their master. The dragon that is transforming has very low communication with his master right now since his master is going a bit crazy…The monster, whose real name is Spirytus, changes into his full dragon form and eats his master (oh lawd!).

Spirytus chases after Toa and Jin. Toa makes a stand saying that she will protect Jin. Since Toa’s a dragon and Jin is her master, you see. Toa then transforms into a full dragon and the episode ends.

😀 It was great. I hate most Gundam shows, but this one reminded me of Gundam SEED. Still, I loved it. Hopefully, in this next episode I’ll get some names for these Dragons and their masters.

I have to admit. This was sort of a confusing anime. It wasn’t as mind raping as Serial Experiments Lain, but you have to keep track of a lot of things and people and remember what’s been said. (I made a list at the end and drew connection lines. =] )

The story starts off with Asou Renji walking along the railroad tracks. He expresses that he would like to be put in a ‘Knight in shining armor saves princess’ situations, but like every apathetic anime school boy ever, thinks this is unlikely to happen. As he gets to an abandoned rail station where he likes toread he sees a girl.

Pretty young lass. Pink hair. Eye patch. That whole shtick. Her name is Shindou Chihiro  In a very anti-climatic manner he says goodbye to her and she returns the wave. The scene switchs to another character, Hirono Hiro, who seems to have hit a road block with his manga.

He gets a message from Shindou Kei (relation to Chihiro? Yes. Sisters.), an childhood friend of his, telling him to come to her christmas party. He decides to go out and gather information for his manga and maybe stop by the party.

Hiro enters a church to gether information for his manga where he meets Amamiya Yuko who is either dressed like a russian or a nun, most likely a nun. She says she is waiting for someone but walks past Hiro, wishing him a merry Christmas.

Outside a girl passes him on a bike. Turns out that was his bike! Oh Shi- Hiro gives chase to the attractive female thief. When he catches up to her, he finds his bike wrecked and the girl unconscious on the ground. When she comes to she introduces herself as Miyamura Miyako and said she was pursuing a purse thief. Having lost her house keys in her purse she convinces Hiro to let her stay with him for the night.

THE SCENE CHANGES~ Asou Renji heads into the same church that Hiro was in, accept now it is daylight. He asks for advice from Himura Yuu who is also waiting for someone. Renji wants advice on what job he should do. Yuu deducts that since Renji likes reading that he should be a publisher.

Renji being the adolescent that he is, thinks that was bad advice. Renji then finds himself wondering to the abandoned rail station again. He, again, meets Shindou Chihiro. After they esablish that they have met before they make a bit of small talk.Chihiro starts to leave, saying that she must be a bother being in Renji’s space. Renj, however, thinks the opposite.

WOAHA~ Craaaaazy kids and their drugs…Anyway, after they get over that, they make a promise to see each other again. The next day, as promised, Renji goes back. Chihiro embraces him in what I suppose is delight. The chat, and establish that they are friends. And much like a little girl, Renji goes skipping home with joy. =/

You now…Since they added ‘The Animation’ to the end of Night wizard, it makes me wonder if this is based on something. So I wikipedia’d it and I guess it is based on an RPG. Well, yeah, now that we got that established…

The episode starts of with the main man, Hiisagi Renji, talking to a very pleasant looking girl called Anzelotte. Turns out, while she presents everything in a pleasant way, she’s not a very nice person that gives Renji not chance to say no to her request. Suddenly Renji is dropped into the earth’s atmosphere and falls to earth wearing only school clothes. …This doesn’t sound very safe. Poor Renji, all he wants to do is go to school.

The scene changes to a red-headed lady in a red landscape with a blood red moon. She explains that when the moon turns red that demons appear. Right on que, guess what happens? Yeah, demons appear. The people used to fight these demons are The Night Wizards! This red head summons her Gunner’s Broom, which is the biggest, coolest gun I’ve seen since Seras Victoria’s  Harkonnen. Which fires magical bullets and destroy those nasty demons. Renji also falls from the sky, very irritated and summons his very cool sword.

Scene change~o.  Ellis Shiho has just transfered to a new school. Everyone seems to thinkshe’s very cute and they all try to recruit her from their club. Like every quiet shy anime girl ever she gets recruited to astronomy club by a very assertive temple maiden named Kureha Akabane. While Kureha and Ellis are having a pleasant chat, Renji approaches the school and on the final stretch gets cut off by Anzelotte.

This is a spoiler for the rest of the episode, but Renji never gets to school. =/ He again goes and fights some beasties. Turns out he’s a member of the Astronomy club too and Kureha and him are childhood friends.

That night, Ellis has an awakening of sorts. Leading her to the withered Sakura tree at school. Kureha, conveniently notices her walking around after she (also a Night Wizard, by the way) spotted the red moon, follows her. At the tree Ellis summons a ball from the ground and reawakens all confused. Oh Shi- A Chimera appears! Kureha shoots her cross bow at it, but it doesn’t work. Ellis gets scared and this orange ball she got turns into a shield that breaks apart and floats around. If you ask me this is pretty useless, but whatever.

Renji falls from the sky and with the help of Kureha, takes care of the Chimera. Now they are all happy little Night Wizards out to save the world. =/
